Everyday I come across so many meaningful quotes, whether they are found in books, on social media sites or in conversations in my home, at my workplace, or just out in the world. It truly amazes me how often I think the message of the quotes can be applied to my life perfectly- it is like they were written for me.
The year 2020 was one that no one will ever forget. There was so much going on with the pandemic, our unstable government, and in our personal lives. For much of 2020 my days were spent with me feeling sad and crestfallen. I was determined to end the awful year as a happy, optimistic person, and I did! When 2021 began, I had already decided that this year is going to be the year I put my happiness above everyone else’s. I have to be happy in order to make others happy. Selfish? Maybe. Necessary? Definitely!
